
Emma Smith
Having grown up in Dargaville, Emma is familiar with life in Northland. After attending Dargaville High, Emma attended the University of Durham, one of the leading universities in the UK, graduating with an Honours Degree in Law. She then completed her post-graduate diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law in Guildford, Surrey. She is an admitted solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales.
Emma joined Webb Ross in November 2010 having worked for firms in the UK over a period of 9 years, including international giant Clifford Chance. For 7½ years she worked for a UK leading regional firm, asb law, undertaking corporate & business matters and dispute resolution & civil litigation. Her experience includes acting for government departments, international and large national clients together with owner-manager business and individuals. She has presented seminars and lectures to professional bodies, interest groups and network meetings on corporate governance requirements and directors duties.
In her spare time Emma is a football referee and also enjoys all sport, cooking, gardening, film, music and interior decoration.
