Wayne McKean
Wayne graduated from Otago University in 1989. He specialises in the areas of criminal, civil and commercial litigation, medico-legal issues, construction contracts and dispute resolution.
Wayne enjoys finding successful solutions for clients who find themselves involved in court proceedings.
Wayne practiced for eight years at the Auckland Crown Solicitor’s office acting for the Crown in a wide variety of litigation. He prosecuted many criminal jury trials in both the High Court and District Court. Wayne has also practiced in London for the Crown Prosecution Service in their asset confiscation unit – arguing applications for mareva type injunctions, appointment of receivers, and orders on behalf of foreign jurisdictions.
Wayne is one of Whangarei’s senior trial lawyers. He is lead counsel in many of the court cases conducted by Webb Ross.
