In late 2011 Fonterra announced it will introduce a new requirement of farmers in its terms and condition of supply. If you are a farmer supplying Fonterra, you will be required by this new requirement to ensure that all “Accord” waterways are fully fenced by the end of 2013. Accord waterways are defined as deeper than a “Red Band” (ankle deep), wider than a stride and permanently flowing. Compliance will be audited as part of Fonterra’s Every Farm Every Year program
